Description
The database and software module MON-ASD is part of the SIMON monitoring system and performs the acquisition, analysis and storage in a single database of the results of the measurements from the modules of the monitoring system.
The MON-ASD module consists of an application that can run on the same computer on which the application runs MON-GW (Gateway Module) or on another computer connected to the same network as the MON-GW module.
Data acquisition is carried out with the MON-GW module.
It allows vizualisation of data acquired in a synchronized way by the measurement modules of the SIMON system, both the current data and the history of the measurements made, in tabular, graphical and / or synoptic format.
Performs the configuration of sensor agendas and the planning of periodic measurement sessions.

Choose the right sensor type
Advantages
• Integrates all measurements performed on a monitored objective • It is compatible with all MONITRON modules but also allows the integration of other measurement modules produced by third parties • Uses mathematical formulas to create virtual sensors • Ensures data protection through the user / password system • Provides Ethernet connectivity
Applications
• Data acquisition with SIMON system modules • Long-term monitoring for bridges, tunnels, viaducts, dams, buildings and other structures • Data storage in the laboratory or in the industry
Technical characteristics Database and software module MON-ASD
- Host computer requirements: PC, Windows 7/8/10, at least 4GB RAM, storage capacity configurable according to project size, standard - 250GB SSD, Ethernet port - Database server: PostgreSQL - Database functions: - performs the functions of database cloning, deletion of the database, import of sensors and cleaning of the database; - performs data protection through passwords, with two levels of access; - realizes the configuration of programmable sensor agendas and work sessions, for automatic measurements; - allows the visualization of the measurements in tabular, graphic or synoptic form; - allows the creation of virtual sensors using the arithmetic and logical expressions applied to the measurement results of the real sensors; - realizes alarm generation in case of exceeding the limits imposed by configuration, in the form of audible signal, SMS or email; - allows the generation and publication of reports; - facilitates the calibration of the sensors by configuring the calibration constants; -data views from the viewports can be exported as EXCEL, JPEG, PNG files - data views from the viewports can be printed in text format (tables) or graphically - the application communicates with the MON-GW module in order to configure the acquisition process (sampling rate, number of samples on each channel, operations applied to the acquired data - filtering, Fourier analysis, etc. - and the parameters related to these operations) - important events will be stored in an event log
